Hey Sisters...How's the diet going?

I'm sitting here eating my salad for lunch (way fresh and super yummy today) and am wondering how it's going for you two. So, thought I'd do a a little check-in, you go girl, kind of thing.
I have to say that I haven't been so good lately. I could blame it on Kelly's bad influence or the fact that I've been sick so I needed soft foods...but it's still on me that I didn't hang in there.
Oh well, am back on the horse and as soon as I'm healthy again I'll be back to exercising too. I'm now down 17 pounds and hoping to make it 18 soon.

So...how is it going for you?

Uh....what diet? Ha! Ever since spring break the workouts have gone down to only 2 a week and I've been eating plenty of the BAD food :) I need to get back on the horse too because I will jog the midnight sun run. I will, I will...
Thanks for the check in and reminder to do better. Glad I'm not the only one doing this healthy change!

Oh yes, and I KNOW Vaughn's birthday is coming up on Monday and we will get something out to him soon. I remember, then forget, then remember...

We love you all!!!

Dahlia,
Ahh man, you were my rock. Kidding...Truly though I'm glad you were bad too because then I know it's not just me but yeah, let's encourage each other to head back to it.
Can you believe Vaughn is turning 2 already??? Amazing. Thanks for remembering him. :) Is it summer yet so you'll be here???

Welp, I ain't fallen off, but I feel like nothing is moving. I lost 8 lbs in the first 3 weeks (feels good to look at the scale and see that) but, even with my eating good, it's stuck. I'm going to chaulk it up to the beers I've had a few nights a week (yes, sometimes a beer is REALLY good) or maybe the Ice Dog games and my really skinny roomie and son eating everything under the son and really not being good influences. I'm still trudging along though, and will feel a LOT better I think once my gym opens up. It is spring time now though, so maybe I'll start walking outside and get some fresh air.
Thinking about you both daily and miss you both (even you Amber and even though we are still in the same town) *HUGS*

Oh, and girls, it's not a diet because diets fail. It is a lifestyle change. Always think that. It makes a difference :)

Hey Miss...hang in there. I know it's hard to know you have to be so hard and strict with yourself when it seems to come so easily to others. I have found though that it seems to go in jumps...I don't lose, I don't lose, I lose 3 pounds.
Like you said though, lifestyle change, so we'll get there. And yeah, I think about you too...across town can be so far away sometimes. :)
